The sultry goddess wears a halo of perfect facets! This fabulous antique English mid-Georgian period ring has a ribbed band and closed-back silver head with crenellated detail encircling an amazing moody, foiled solitaire rock crystal which has the lustre of pure, clear water. Its main facet is an excellent size and enhances any direct reflections off the face of the stone.
The surrounding facets are diamond-shaped and very similar to those around a Stuart Crystal, also from the same period. The foil is slightly dirty due to its age - it is possible to have a very good jeweller clean it but there are still strong reflections to be seen through the stone and I think it enhances its overall look. It dates from around 1750 and is in excellent, fully wearable condition for its age - especially the stone's facets, with no loss or damage. There is evidence of one or two old resizings to the band. It weighs 2.3 grams, its head measures 11 x 10 mm and its ring size is 7 ¾ US / P ½ UK - not very easily resized. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coin for scale, which measures 19 mm / ¾ of an inch diameter. What's more, I offer layaway deals so there's no need to let any of my listings slip through your fingers - just ask!
